The beginning

I came into exercise in my late thirties having spent my teens and twenties doing the usual combo of exercise avoidance and dabbling but never really feeling committed to anything in particular. One special group of women took me under their wing and dragged me round my first 5k run and I was hooked. It began with loving the friendship and good feeling that exercise gave me, and then I started to see results.

When I talk about ‘results’ I'm specifically referring to feeling healthier, stronger and generally living a more positive and well-motivated existence. I believe that when your motivation is based on these principles rather than purely aesthetics, it makes for a much stronger foundation.

Where I am now

As I became more passionate about health and fitness and working out with like-minded people, I took the step to get qualified doing what I love. Fast forward a few years and I am now a qualified Level 3 PT, have over 15 half marathons under my belt, a fair few triathlons and some freezing open water swim stuff too!

Having been on my own health journey with injuries setbacks and challenges along the way - I feel like I understand the constraints and worries that occur when you may be starting out or coming back to exercise. I am in an ideal position to be able to assist you in your goals and help you on your own journey, whatever it may be.

When not enjoying working out and training clients, I can be found down at Ebony Horse Club - a charity in Brixton, where I've worked voluntarily for the past 9 years, helping teach kids how to ride and take care of horses.
